For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. - I Corinthians 3:11

A Message from Shel

I am so excited about our Fall campaign. This marks the formal launching of one of the biggest steps St. Andrew's has ever undertaken to expand our ministries and enlarge our ability to reach more people for the Kingdom of God.

In this web page you will find the following:

  • Information Introducing our "Foundations for the Future" Capital Stewardship Program.
  • Our Schedule of Events (Events you will want to be part of!)
  • Information about the exciting spiritual journey ahead for us.

We have an outstanding Leadership Team in place, who have already begun to guide us through this process. Let me encourage you to read this newsletter carefully and all the subsequent pieces of information that will come your way. Please pray for God to lead you in these vitally important days at St. Andrew's.

Attend our services and be part of every event of our "Foundations for the Future" program. Be ready to take one of the most exciting steps of faith in your life.

Together we can touch lives here... now...for generations to come.

Strengthening Christ's Church Together,
Shel

Foundations for the Future 101 - Our Fundraising

We are called to be good stewards and we are called to put God first in all we do and all we are. As construction on our new Activity Center starts, it is necessary to do a Capital Stewardship Program. The annual ministry pledge is primary to supporting the on-going ministries and the pledge to the "Foundations for the Future" program needs to be "Over and Above Giving" allowing us to build the Kingdom of God by creating a space where spiritual growth can flourish. We realize that not everybody can make this extra sacrifice, but many of us can.

Over $850,000 has already been received from past programs. After major maintenance and pre-construction expenses, we have about $213,000 available for the project. With a construction cost of $1.7 million, we will need about $1.5 million to completely pay for the building and other campus improvements.

To reach our goal of creating "Foundations for the Future", serving those who are not part of our current St. Andrew's family, all of us need to step up to make it happen.

An Invitation for all of us - from the Leadership Team

To our St. Andrew's Family:

You are invited and encouraged to attend one of the Information Meetings scheduled October 7 to 14. At the end of this invitation you will find a list of the meetings with location, dates and times. A member of our Shepherd Team will be contacting you to confirm your attendance at one of the meetings.

Your attendance is very important. No financial commitment will be asked for or received at these meetings. However, the church will be called to prayer. These information meetings are designed to share information about the Activity Center project, its mission and how we can all support it through our Capital Stewardship Program called "Foundations for the Future." Information about St. Andrew's present and future ministry will be provided. We will share why this program is so important and why the support from all of us is critical to our success.

Your Leadership Team hopes that all of our St. Andrew's family will all attend one of these Information Meetings as a demonstration of our support and as encouragement to others. When called, please be ready to answer affirmatively.

We look forward to seeing you at one of the meetings.

Sincerely,
Your Leadership Team
