The Saint Andrew's music ministry ranges from the latest contemporary Christian music to music drawn from hundreds of years of rich church music traditions. Vocal choirs, handbell choirs, and many small ensembles all participate. St. Andrew's is also blessed with many children, teens and adults who play a variety of instruments in the Praise Band, small ensembles, and solos.
We offer many ways to serve the Lord through vocal music.
- Praise Band Our praise band plays dynamic contemporary music at our 9 am Sunday service and rehearses Thursday evenings at 6:30 - 7:00 pm.
- Celebration Choir The Celebration Choir provides praise music leadership during the 9 am Sunday service and rehearses with the Praise Band Thursday evenings at 7:00 - 7:30 pm.
- Chancel Choir Chancel Choir sings traditional choral anthems and response music at the 10:30 am Sunday service and rehearses Thursday, 7:30 pm.
- Vocal Velocity A youth vocal group that rehearses 6:45 pm Wednesday evening in conjunction with our youth program. Kim James, Director - dahar@pacbell.net
- Joyful Noise Our children's choir that rehearses during our Wednesday afternoon 'Kid's Kingdom' children's program. Danielle Mitchell, Director - galintune@gmail.com
Bell Choirs are also offered for all ages:
- Harmonikos: An adult bell choir that offers special music throughout the year. Rehearsals held 7 pm Monday evenings. Patti TenBrook, Director - patti@tenbrook.org
